What White Boyz Fight For is a collection of four stories that tells how far a man will go to get the woman of his dreams. “A Kiss On The Lips” by Carmichael is the story of Marine Staff Sergeant Novak who suddenly requests a discharge to win the hand of his true love, Jaxon Alexander. The problem is Jaxon is engaged to be married. In Kelly Nyrae’s “Fight For Me,” Alana is celebrating her 30th birthday. Her best friend, Kellan, decides that now is the time to confess his love and to convince her that they are made for each other. “Collide” by Pamela Leigh Starr takes place on Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Ambria only wanted to catch a coconut for her sick niece. Little did she know she would catch more than a coconut when she collided with a tall, blond blue-eyed DEA Agent Yancy DeWolf. Eve Vaughn, in “Champion,” tells the story of Reese Green, a single mother raising a disabled son. She gets a shock when JT Austin shows up at her door as his Big Brother.

All of the stories were quick and fun to read. The first three stories were predictable and did not hold my interest too well. If I had to rate them individually, I would rate them 2.5/3 stars. However, I found the story by Vaughn to be refreshing and realistic. I would rate that story alone 4.5. Overall, readers of inter-racial romance will find this anthology a good book to read.
